Over the next few months prior to closing, you will have exciting decisions to make when selecting the interior finishes and final touches of your new home. And we’re here to help you every step of the way. Because it’s not just the wall colours that make a beautiful home. It’s working with engaged owners to get it just right. Let’s get started.

    CHOOSING YOUR DREAM HOME

    It starts with selecting the perfect model, lot and floorplan to suit your lifestyle. From there, you choose the exterior colour options, including brick, stone and paint.

    Step 2.

    GETTING READY

    During the next few months of the home-building process, we encourage you to prepare for your exciting next steps. It may help to gather inspiration for customizing your home and plan for any additional upgrades. This could include gathering photos, colour swatches and anything else that will help communicate your desired look!

    Step 3.

    PREPARING THE PERFECT KITCHEN

    We know how important the kitchen is to making your house a home, so we only start building once you have selected your desired appliances. We designate a separate appointment for selecting your personal touches from every option and upgrade available, including colour, style and cabinetry.

    Step 4.

    GETTING YOUR HOME CONNECTED

    Hallett Homes has teamed up with a leading partner in the home audio/visual industry to equip your living spaces with smart technology. Some of the options available to you include home cinema, structured cabling, networking and audio solutions.

    Step 5.

    ADDING THE COLOURFUL DETAILS

    You’ll meet with our décor specialist for expert advice on interior finishes, including flooring, countertops and paint colours. You also have the option to add personalized touches in the form of built-in bookshelves, fireplace mantles and crown moulding.

    Step 6.

    SIGN-OFF ON YOUR NEW BUILD

    After the design consultant reviews and finalizes your selections, we will get you to sign off on your desired features and finishes so we can order the selected material. A Hallett Homes representative will be in touch shortly to schedule a framing walk–through.

    STEP 7.

    INSPECTION AND MOVE-IN

    Once your home is built, you’ll be invited for an orientation and inspection where we will discuss the functions of your home and best ways to maintain it. Then we give you the keys and are right there to celebrate with you. Welcome home.
